Cauliflower breadsticks with cheese

Hello, my dear foodies! Who remembers my cauliflower pizza crust recipe? Well, the preparation of this recipe is quite the same as the recipe that I’m showing you today.

I can tell you that it’s a very tasty, easy and quick recipe to make, low in calories, it can be a snack/ an appetizer, a lunch or even a light dinner. I enjoyed these cauliflower breadstick with cheese while I was watching a good movie.They went very good with the tomato sauce with garlic that I made. I have to admit I’m a big fan of garlic and if I can, I’d put garlic in any food. Besides this, cheese is the greatest culinary delight of mine. So whenever I have the opportunity, I make a recipe in which I use any kind of cheese, mozzarella, parmesan etc.

INGREDIENTS
1 cauliflower bouquet
2 eggs
200 gr. grated cheese (or mozzarella)
100 gr. grated Parmesan
2-3 garlic cloves (or to taste)
1 can whole tomatoes / cubes / paste (for sauce)
Spices: salt, pepper, dried basil, dried oregano, a bit of chili (optional)

PREPARATION
Wash and cut the cauliflower into small florets, put them in a food processor and puls until finely chopped ( like rice ). Put the chopped cauliflower in a heat-resistant container and leave it in the microwave for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, put the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out the excess water as hard as you can.

In a large bowl put the cauliflower, 2 eggs, 100 gr. parmesan, 1 crushed garlic, a little bit of salt, pepper and oregano. Mix well, then transfer the ,,dough” into a tray lined with parchment paper. Press and shape the dough with your hand in a round or square shape and put it to the preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. In the last 3 minutes put the cheese on top and put the tray back in the oven until the cheese is melted.

Meanwhile, you can prepare the sauce. In a bowl put the tomato can (I used whole tomatoes), 2 cloves of crushed garlic, salt, pepper, a little chili and dried basil (to taste). Bled the whole composition with a vertical blender.

Remove the cauliflower crust from the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes, cut into breadstick, then serve.
