Chicken meatballs

Today I show you how to make chicken meatballs, which are very tasty and easy to prepare. These are much healthier than than those  pork meatballs, because chicken is a lean meat with little fat. A big plus is the fact that they are made in the oven, so there are not  fried in oil, which makes them perfect because they are lower in calories and healthier.

You do not need too many ingredients to cook these chicken meatballs, of course, you can add spices and flavors at your choice. I used the basic ingredients that I am sure each one of you have them already in your kitchen.

Let’s see the recipe!
500 gr. ground chicken meat
1 medium carrot (grated)
1 egg
4-5 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (you can replace it with flour or flaxmeal)
parsley (to taste)
salt & pepper (to taste)

The method of preparation is very simple: in a bowl put the ground chicken meat, the grated carrot, the minced garlic, the chopped parsley, the egg, the breadcrumbs, salt and papper. Mix all the ingredients well with your hand.

Form the chicken balls. Wet or grease your hands with oil before forming them because in this case it’s easier to form the chicken meatballs.

Put the meatballs on a tray lined with parchment paper and greased with a bit of olive oil. Leave them in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

Meatballs are ready when they start to brown. To be sure that they are cooked, just check one of them after 30 minutes. Leave them 5 more minutes if they are not completely cooked.

Once they are cooked, leave them to cool, then serve the chicken meatballs.

Store them in a frigde container and eat them whitin a few days.
