Protein pancakes with bananas and oats

Today I decided to show you how to make protein pancakes with bananas and oats. They are vegan pancakes, simple to make, very tasty and quite sweet from the bananas (I didn’t add sugar at all).

For these pancakes I used a vegan protein powder, which Life Care send it to me to test it, together with two more smoothie powders, so I thought it would be great to make some pancakes in which I can also add 2-3 tablespoons from this powder, which contains hemp protein powder, rice protein powder, coconut powder, coconut and cocoa powder. Oh my, this smells like chocolate and coconut! A combo more than perfect. One serving, which is 1 spoonful of this protein powder, has only 22 kcal, which is not too much.

Their suggestion is to make smoothies from this powder, but I wanted to make some protein pancakes so I can eat them before or after my gym workout. Likewise, the fact that I used oats gives me energy, because they are are rich in fiber and they are a source of complex carbohydrates (good carbohydrates).

So, if you workout, go to the gym or just want to eat some nutritious pancakes and low in calories, do not hesitate to make this recipe!

INGREDIENTS
1 cup of oats
3 tablespoons of vegan protein powder
2 large ripe bananas
250-300 ml. milk (I used vegan milk, but you can also use a normal one)
1 spoonful of cinnamon
pinch of salt
Optional: 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

PREPARATION
Put the oats in a food processor and mix until they take the form of flour. Put them in a large bowl. In the same bowl put the rest of the dry ingredients: protein powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix.

Mash 2 bananas with a fork. Put the mashed bananas in the bowl, gradually add the milk and stir well.

Put some oil in a pan. Take about 1 ½ tablespoon of the composition and put it in the pan, forming the pancakes. They don’t have to be perfectly round. When small bubbles comes out to surface, flip over the pancakes and cook it on the other side for 20-30 seconds.

Serve the pancakes with fruits of your choice and with a teaspoon of honey. They go perfect for breakfast, before or after the gym.
