I think we all love cookies, even more if they are homemade. As the holidays approach, I decided to show you a yummy cookie recipe, which you can remake the recipe whenever you want, you don’t have to make it especially for holidays
As always I tried to adapt some traditional cookie recipes that everyone knows and to bring my contribution by changing or adding some ingredients.
These whole wheat cookies with chocolate are not only very tasty, but also very easy to prepare, and simply by replacing some ingredients with some, I say, more nutritious, makes them even healthy. They are good to eat in the morning with milk, yogurt or kefir (as I eat them), perfect for packing wherever you go (school, college, work, traveling etc.) or just when you need something sweet to eat.
I hope you like the recipe of biscuits as much as I do and do not forget to share with your loved ones!

INGREDIENTS (I made 21 biscuits)
200 gr. of whole wheat flour
80 gr. Nestle Dessert Noir chocolate
100 gr. of coconut butter
6 tablespoons of coconut sugar (you can replace it with brown sugar or normal white sugar)
3 tablespoons of agave syrup (you can replace it with maple syrup or honey)
100 ml. of milk
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
10 gr. of baking powder
a pinch of salt

PREPARATION
Cut chocolate into smaller pieces. Instead the black chocolate tablet you can use chocolate chips. You can add more grams of chopped chocolate if you want to, I prefer less.
Put the coconut butter, sugar and agave syrup in a bowl and mix the ingredients with a fork. Add the black chopped chocolate, 100 ml. of milk, the vanilla essence and mix well.
Add the baking powder, a little salt and gradually the whole wheat flour. Mix initially with a spoon or a spatula, then with your hand.
To make the cookies, you need an ice cream scoop (that’s what I used), a normal spoon, or you can simply take the dough in your hand and form small balls and put them on a tray covered with a baking sheet. Make sure you leave enough space between them, because the butter from the composition will melt, the balls will drop and in this way the biscuits will be formed.
Put the tray on the preheated oven at 180°C and bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes (depending on everyones oven). When the cookies turn brown on the surface, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a bit.
They are very good cookies, slightly crunchy, not very sweet, and chopped chocolate inside them are the little surprise you have when you eat them. For freshness put the cookies in a hermetic box or in a casserole with lid.
Christmas is coming soon, so leave some whole wheat cookies with chocolate for Santa under the tree. I heard that this year, Santa was on a diet and he will surely like some cookies.
